Summer I 2026
Location Guide
The right location is a special part of your session, setting the tone from the very beginning.
Some places feel open and expansive, others quiet and secluded, but each offers something unique and beautiful in every season.
I’m drawn to locations that feel grounded in nature and help tell your family’s story in an honest, unforced way.
Take a look through some of the options, and I’m always happy to chat through other ideas too.

START TIME:
45-60 minutes before sunset
SAFETY:
Although there is enough surrounding space for children not to veer towards the edge, there is a big element of danger for kids who can or will run off, so if you are NOT comfortable with this let’s opt for the fenced side or another location

Yes - located near our starting point
PUBLIC TOILETS:
Bush wee
WALKING/TERRAIN:
Mostly flat solid ground — a blend of sandy paths and some gravely and flat rock. Nothing too tricky, but may be a bit uncomfy for some if barefoot

START TIME:
60 minutes before sunset
SAFETY:
There is about a 5-10 moderate up hill walk on a narrow unsealed roadside path to reach the starting point, little kids will need to be carried or hands held. Once at the start of the track, there are no sheer drop offs, but more sloping, rolling hills of different gradients. Depending on how far we go, toddlers/little children will likely need to be carried on the steeper sections.
CAR PARK:
Yes there is a small unsealed car park just off the main road, just off the main road, there can limited spots at times, but i believe there are some other streets for parking nearby.
PUBLIC TOILETS:
No
WALKING/TERRAIN:
Moderate walk from car to the start of the track, a natural bush track with a mix of gentle to moderate hills. Not pram friendly but for families happy to walk and explore.
